For the past two years my Honda CRV 2001 continues to have problems starting. It’s gone to the Honda dealer twice, been to two other garages and the problem continues. The crankshaft sensor is been changed twice, and the main relay. Also the distributor cap.
Does it turn over, but not fire up?
Have you ever had the valves adjusted? It is important to adjust the valves every 30k miles on these engines. Failure to adjust the valves can cause hard starting as well as eventual engine damage:

If you have never had the valves adjusted, do it now before the engine gets badly damaged. Hopefully that hasn’t happened yet. Adjusting the valves may solve the hard starting problem too.
