I have a 2002 grand cherokee 6 cyl. I’m trying to replace rear disk brake pads. I found sliding pin has no head to turn with wrench. Shoud I remove caliper mounting bolts first?
I think you need a 7mm allen wrench to loosen those pins. Pull the plastic dust cap off and you will see it in there. I use an allen wrench that fits on a 3/8 ratchet like a socket.
