When I shift the automatic trans on my 02 camry,it doesn’t feel like it locks into place. I can also shift it without depressing the brake and can shift it out of park when there is no key in the ignation.
How many miles on it. How many miles since the last transmission fluid change?
I had that problem, it was a problem with an interlock in the shift system. You need to get it fixed, on my car it let me remove the key when it was not in park. Car could roll away!
