Our daughter who is starting to drive is only 4’7". She had a difficult time reaching the gas pedal (the gas pedal is almost always a few inches forward of the brake pedal), so I went looking for a pedal extension. I was disappointed to see these things selling for upwards of $100. I then designed my own. It works like a champ, and our young driver is very happy in her Volvo 240. Good thinking! A simple fix that accomplishes the goal and it is visually appealing also instead of being cobbled together.
