I recently installed a 6K HID foglights and it is wired with the headlights and directly to the battery with a 25k Amp fuse with a relay. It’s been the second time where the plastic part of the fuse melted and shorted it. The fuses usually last a couple of months before this occurs. What seems to be the problem and the fix for it?
How many amps are those lights suppose to use?
If the fuse holder or the wires connected to it are loose at all, it will cause a voltage drop resulting in a lot of heat being generated. I suspect that you need to change the fuse holder.
