I recently took my 2000 Daewoo Lanos to my mechanic for a timing belt change. After the repair I noticed that when I drive at 30-40 mph I hear this squeak like sound which makes me wonder if my mechanic did something wrong. The noise also appears after ignition and when accelerating. Anybody got any idea what the noise could be.
I suggest you go back and let the mechanic hear this new noise. There shouldn’t be new noises after a timing belt replacement.
