My 1999 f150 won’t start from time to time,
engine turns great but won’t start - I wait maybe 30 minutes and it starts is this a fuel pump problem?. When it is hot out this happens morel often
When it starts turn it off and have someone at back of truck,turn key to 2nd click just before click to start. Have them listen for pump,it may take a time or two.
Next time it will not start have someone listen that will get you closer to problem.
Sometimes a hit on the tank with a rubber mallet helps.
The trouble could be with the ignition system. Try spraying some stater fluid into the intake to see if the engine will try to start then. If you get no reaction then the ignition is most likely the trouble.
