I own a 2007 Honda Accord with 36,000 miles. I just had the oil changed and the shop suggested that the fuel injectors needed to be serviced. I had a 30,000 service done by my regular shop last year. It does not appear that they did anything with the fuel injection system as part of the 30,000 service. I can’t find anything in my owner’s manual in regard to this. Should I have this work done?
Is the engine idling smoothly?
Does the engine have the same amount of power when you accelerate as it had originally?
Is your gas mileage as good as it used to be?
If you can answer yes to all of those questions, then I suggest that you skip the apparently unneeded fuel system service.
Unless you’ve noticed an actual problem with the way the car runs, absolutely not.
And you should stop going to chain shops like Jiffy Lube - they’re always trying to get you to do crap like this, and it’s pure profit for them, and no benefit to you. Plus, they have a much higher percentage of screwing up and damaging cars than real shops.

There are NO service intervals for fuel injectors.
The only thing you can do for fuel injectors is to put good quality gasoline in your car, and keep the car well tuned by performing spark plug services on time.

I would disagree on one item. If you have an automatic transmission, I would strongly recommend a fluid and filter change every 20-35,000 miles. Once you start noticing anything, it is too late.
