I am being told that there is no need nor application for a fuel filter on a 07 colorado. They, Mr Goodwrench, say there is none on the system. Would it be advisable to place one on the truck? A pump coste several hundreds and injectors ??? What would be an easy out
So far this technology which I beleive started with the japenese have been very dependable. I do question just how long that lifetime sock at the end of the pump will last but so far to this date I have not seen one fail. This is one way that the manufactures can say we need less maintenance and buy my car.
If it isn’t made to have a filter, rejoice. It’s one less thing to worry about. It can’t freeze up if it isn’t there.
