Frau Blucher is back

20-30 years ago I wasn’t always so respectful of “the correct ways” of doing things(speed limit, tire pressure, etc) I’m not ashamed to admit it.

Just because you have found your way, Is no reason to be pushing your beliefs on to everyone else.

If I wanted someone preaching their ways/beliefs on to me, I’d go to a church.

And that is a prime example of your holier than thou attitude I was referring to…

Your perception is duly noted.

I’m sharing advice. Not “preaching”.

@ChrisTheTireWhisperer

pretty much ALL the regulars are telling you the same thing

Chris, we are just trying to help you a little bit to get along with people in the day to day world, not trying to be mean, but only so much we can do to help you with your attitude…

This is why you have issues in life dealing with people, it just isn’t my perception, it is most peoples… You even have said many times you have issues…

As the old saying goes, you can lead a horse to water but you can’t make it drink…

I have no problems with people out in the day to day real world.

It’s people here on the internet that I run into issues with.

They don’t like to hear facts.

“Posted speed limit is the fastest one should be driving, where that limit is posted”.

They fear knowledge.

“The correct cold tire pressure for a specific car is not on the tire sidewall, but documented on the car door frame, owners manual, or inside fuel filler lid”.

They label the purveyor of such knowledge as “preachy”, and lash out at the purveyor:

“I’ll drive as fast as I want!”

“Don’t tell me how much air to put in my tires!” (or, how much oil to put in my crank case")

Getting to the route of those reactions takes time, and is important in solving this disconnect.

I am not a psychologist or psychiatrist, therefore I am not qualified to diagnose those mentalities and reactions toward knowledge being shared.

Chris you have said on MULTIPLE occasions that you have always had problems holding down jobs and whatnots because of your upbringings, so are you not telling the truth now, or then???

Anyway, as said before, you just don’t get it and probably never will… Good luck in life…

Then why did you have an issue with the person that didn’t push the crosswalk button?

I use it all the time when driving. Press the phone button on my steering-wheel then say something like “Send text to Wife”. Response is - “What would you like to say”. I then talk and Iphone translates my speech to text. When I’m finished it reads it back to me and asks if I want to send. 99% of the time the text is correct and I say yes. Everyone once in a while it didn’t understand me correctly and I have to change it.

Can also use the Hands-free calling feature. Press phone button on steering wheel and say “Call Wife on mobile”. Or “Call Wife at work”.

These features allow me to talk or send a text hands free while driving.

Autocorrect Text to Wife Joke.

Wife sent me a selfie in a new dress and asked - “Does this make my belly look too big?” I texted back “Noo”. My phone autocorrected it to “Moo”. Please send help.

… and that is why I placed him on permanent “ignore” status several weeks ago.

That quitting jobs at the drop of a hat was 15 years ago.

My most recent job lasted ten years, even though it’s not what I went to school for. I learned that every day at work was not going to always be the same as the last.

As for the old couple at the intersection, I did ask them politely about not using the walk button, and they asked me “do I have to?”
