I have a 1994 Ford Taurus that has started to stall when I slow down or stop at a red light. It is hard to get it started again once it stalls. Then, once it starts again, it sounds great and runs just fine for a while. I’ve taken it to our mechanic, and he can’t find anything wrong with it. I’d appreciate any help with this.
There was a problem with the TFI ignition module, on Fords, for years. It attaches to the side of the distributor with two screws. Here is a picture: http://www.autozone.com/N,16200029/shopping/partTypeResultSet.htm
Hey, thanks! I’ll show that to our mechanic.
Thanks again.
