Ford Fusion steering assist fault, hill start assist and service advance trac?

Hello,

Yesterday I drove through some large puddles. I drove the car for about 20 minutes afterwards. The next time I started my car I have a trio of steering assist fault, hill start assist and service advance trac. The wheel is basically locked. I feel it is related to the puddle and getting something soaked (electrical). Any possible solutions? Thanks

Find where the water entered, dry it out.

If that doesn’t work, attach an OBD2 scanner (a pro level one) read the codes out determine the fault. Fix the fault.

If you can’t do that, have the car towed to a well rated independent shop for repair.

The electric power steering has been a huge problem with the Ford Fusions. Steering wheel angle reporting has probably been lost as well after the electronics for the power steering got wet and ruined, so the ESC ABS function doesn’t work either. Is ESC also called Advanced Track?
