Our 2005 Ford Focus wobbles at speeds of 45mph and higher. We have new tires and around 50,000 miles. When driving, the steering wheel vibrates. Any suggestions as to what may be the issue? Thanks!
I assume it wobbled before the new tires? If so, it could be a lot of things including but not limited to a simple bent rim.
The only way to know for sure is to look at it. Take it to your favorite shop.
Have wheel balance check and maybe re-balanced. Also maybe front wheel bearings. However, go with re-balance first. Then of course there are engine mounts. I offer all this from experience with my 2005 Ford Focus Wagon:-)
