Ford fiesta 2014 leak in boot and soaking footwells

Hi everyone. I’m having a nightmare with my car, I’ve had it 8 months it’s a Ford fiesta 2014, the boot fills up with water when I drive it and it’s wet, I mean really fills up like finger deep, and the drivers side footwell front and back are soaking. It’s costing me a bomb to keep drying it out, 2 mechanics have no idea, the third made me re do the seals and it’s still filling up. I don’t know what to do I need help. I sat in the boot and my dad soaked the car with a hose but no water came in that I could see?

There must be a clogged drain somewhere, but I am only guessing.

For other readers of this post, for those that are not familiar with the term “boot”, that is what the folks from the UK call what Americans call the trunk.

Look for sunroof drains being clogged…

Spray around the rear windscreen while pushing on the glass from inside… Same for side glass.

Leaks can be difficult to find, keep looking. Good Luck

If you’ve got a rear radio antenna mast, check it for leaks.
I don’t know what a Ford Fiesta is or what one looks like, but another source of boot leaks in many cars is where tail (rear) lights meet body panels where there is a flexible gasket/seal.

A trunk is a “boot.”
And a hood is a “bonnet.”
And a (convertible) top is a “hood.”
I’m not taking you 'round the bend!

About the only way you’re going to find this leak is, have someone crawl in the back with torch, and have them look for leaks while driving when it’s wet.
