Ford fiesta 1.4 54 plate HELP!

I have a ford fiesta that first of all started off stuttering/loss of power and now wont stay running when the engine is cold

please help!!!

Could be a vacuum hose that’s leaking, among many things.
What are you capable of doing yourself?

A 54 plate would mean a Ford Fiesta, sold in the UK between Sep 1 2004 and Feb 28 2005.
