At 65-75mph the check engine light flickers (it is not flashing) when I let off on the gas pedal. It happens intermittently. last week dealer check showed no computer codes. However, I was told that my transmission has to be replaced based on their test drive. I had no idea. may or may not be related.
Take the car to an independent transmission shop for their opinion on whether your trans “needs to be replaced”.
