I have a 1993 Volvo 850. I am selling it below the blue book price for $1,995. It has 176k. Mechanically and running-wise it is great, but has cosmetic dysfunctions. The major problem is that the heat and the fan do not work and I am trying to sell it in Bend, Oregon. The heating system has been removed. No one is buying. Should I fix those parts? I think I blocked out the price of repairing both when I was considering that years ago. My question is does anyone have a more rational figure for what fixing these items might cost? Should I fix and then sell? I have abandoned my car and am in NY trying to sell from afar. Thanks!!
