Never put anything not specified fluid in the tranny. If you want to dump the car or are thinking about it and the tranny is acting up just realize one thing. The tranny is acting up because it is dying. Any additive may do nothing, may help, and may kill the tranny. I have heard all three results with about equal occurance.
