I have to drive to work in the dark, and it is very humid in the mornings when I leave. The windshield is clean but the film makes it almost impossible to see through until it dries off, which takes a long time because of the dew and humidity. What can I use to take the film off?
Will it not come off with the windshield washer fluid?
No,windshield washer fluid does not take it off.
Nor the stuff from the car parts store that claims to be the best stuff on earth. I need something serious.
Is it on the inside or out side?
try paste cleaners made for glass
I would use Ban-Ami cleanser but only use the stuff in the yellow can The newer an easier to find stuff in the gold can will damage the window.
I use a bar of soap from a motel to clean it off. Those bars can be kept in the glove compt easily and cost nothing. They are pure soap and leave no detergent film on the glass. Some people use coke on it right out of the can. LEE
