Boy where to start, I have a 1986 Camaro 2.8L V6 (although we are not really sure about the 2.8L cause it seems a little too big for it so might be a 3.1L) first it had the problem of having no power at all, you would go 35Mph and after a sec it would die and not start anymore… that problem is solved it was the catalytic converter -.- I took it out and straight pipe it xD I don’t have any business in CA anyway and in my state it is not illegal to not have it.
Now the fan doesn’t want to run, I replaced the coolant sensor. No luck still doesn’t want to turn on. When you ground the diagnostic terminal (B, A) the fan will kick on @.@
Now for the transmission (it’s a 5 speed manual) When you try to shift gears the car stalls and jumps (the gears don’t grind)… I tried several times, start it back up and take off no luck… But when I backed out the car out of the garage it didn’t… Supposedly the clutch has been replaced,…
Any ideas on my problems?
Thanks
OK Where to start??

Block size of the 2.8 and 3.1 are the same. So if it’s too big then it might be the 5.0.

YES it is…that’s FEDERAL LAW. By Federal Law you can NOT modify or remove any pollution control devices.
What do you mean by the car JUMPS??? Explain in more detail what is happening with the tranny. This may NOT be a tranny issue…
You must live in Mexico then?
The car “JUMPS” like literary the front end jumps up… Well it’s a V6… and no I don’t live in Mexico… and really it doesn’t matter I live in the middle of nowhere. Plus I asked around about it, especially cause it’s an old car it don’t matter.
Well. If the catalytic converter has been removed, I think it’s better that this thing never gets driven on the road.

Person who told you that gave you extremely bad advise. If you drive this vehicle on the street you can be subject to a $5,000 fine if caught driving without a catalytic converter.
The front end jumping up…that is weird…Have no idea what would cause the front end to JUMP up.
