My 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee limited with a 3.6L started taking a few seconds to start. Ran a scan and there’s no codes.
The next time you go to start it when you know this happens, just turn the ignition switch on for a second or two and then turn it off.
Repeat this a half dozen times and then try starting the engine. If the engine starts right up, it points to problem with the anti drain-back valve on the fuel pump.
