2000 Corolla - “growling” noise on the passenger side of the engine / stops when I turn the steering wheel - no loss of PS fluid (I also flushed the system) -any idea which bearing(s) might be bad…?
Is there a filter screen in the bottom of the P.S. reservoir? They can plug up, making the pump growl…
If you’re moving when the growling stops, look for a bad wheel bearing.
