Just got finished putting engine together. Not sure what this wire is or where it goes. It’s a 2000 ford focus 2.0 spi

it needs fixed before you reattach it to where ever it goes- it’s got quite the gash in it- exposing wires.
What on this engine did you just “put together”? Many of those bolts and clamps don’t look like they have moved in 18 years…
Follow the other end. Find out where it goes to. Looks like radio antenna.

No but it doesnt matter now. found out the 3rd piston was cracked so I’m just calling it a lost project
