Engine dies

My 95 Saturn (100.000 mi.)bucks while driving on the road, if I press in the clutch the RPM’s drop to 0 and the engine dies. If I let out the clutch the engine starts again and sometimes will buck. If I do this again (While I’m moving) maybe a couple of times, the engine runs OK until the next time (A couple of days later).

No service light is displayed and I’ve replaced the plugs, wires, fuel filter and I used injector cleaner all with no success.

Can you tell me what this might be and how I can fix it myself?

Thanks

Don

There are a whole lot of possibilities here including but not limited to a failing gas pump, a failing igniter, a failing coil pack, a failing oxygen sensor, a failing mass airflow sensor, or a failing cam position sensor.

I’d suggest going to s good shop. This one will be tough for a novice to diagnose.
