On my truck I am having a hard time trying to get it to start. What it is doing is when you turn the key the lights on the dash do not light up. When they do it will start, sometimes 1 min sometimes 15 mins. I replaced the ignition relay and still the same. Also on a couple of occasions it has stalled while in motion. I do not have a security key and the distributor is clean.
The problem is most likely due to a bad power connection before or after the ignition switch. The switch may be faulty also. Make sure the battery connections have been cleaned. I recommend you get a test light probe so you can see where power is getting to and not guess.
