The check engine light on my 99 Honda Accord came on and I took it to mechanic. He says it’s an electrical problem, but he can’t pinpoint it. Should I be concerned? He’s had the car for three days, at what point do I go collect the car and take it somewhere else? The car was running, but rough, and had a loss of power. Any thoughts?
If you have a check engine light, then you have a code stored in the computer. Ask him to give you the code and post it here. We can give you better advice then. right now, your information is too general for an opinion.
I’m pretty good at Hondas… but like Keith said we do need more info. If its running rough then you may have a cylinder misfire…for some reason…there can be several.
