I am assisting a neighbor is storing her 2005 Dodge Caravan and would like to turn off the internal power by pulling a fuse instead of unhooking a battery cable. In our personal 2005 Grand Caravan, currently stored at another location, there is a 20A fuse for this.
On this neighbor’s vehicle the only fuse that looks okay to use is a 10A Memory (I.O.D). Is this what I am looking for?

How long is the storage? If it is more than 6 months, you should remove the battery and put it on a float charger.
The I.O.D fuse on Chrysler products is designed to reduce the draw on the battery during periods of storage and shipping. Remove the IOD fuse before storage.
