!979 triumph spitfire. I have an electric fuel pump connected to the gas tank. It never lasts more than a couple of months before it goes out. It is a generic after market brand. Any ideas? Thanks
Install a fuel filter before the fuel pump.
another possibility could be if the tank is not vented properly. maybe the pump is being overworked by constantly having to draw from a tank that is trying to maintain a vacuum.
also agree with the fuel filter which one would hope? has been replaced.
