I want to replace my AC compressor for 2001 Toyota Echo with a part from a salvage yard. Which other makes are compatible with Echo? Is there a parts guide?

The yards will have an interchange guide.

I’m not so sure about used A/C parts, unless you can find a system that’s still sealed.

Something else you may look into is buying one on ebay. I recently bought a rebuilt compressor for my '88 Escort GL for $60., junk yard wanted $40. for a used one.
