Found an older Eagle Talon in great shape for $2,000. I have no knowledge of Eagles; good cars?
At that price point a mechanic check over is key. History and maintenance habits of previous owner(s) are more crucial than nameplate & model. The only generalization that can be made is Euro is much pricier to fix typically than domestic/Asian makes.
The car is made by Mitsubishi, and is a clone of the Eclipse and the Plymouth Laser.
These cars weren’t bad, and the AWD turbos were supposed to be a blast to drive. However, they tended to be driven hard, so the buyer needs to be especially careful.
No deal unless you are willing to spend the most if it is needed. Expensive if it needs engine or transmission work. What car isn’t though?
