what the best way to cut a top off a 55 gallon drum,if you don’t have a torch.

Use a hammer and chisel. I did it that way in my youth on many 55 gal drums.

A Sawzall with the right blade works good too…

Just make ABSOLUTELY sure what was in the drum, and that it’s fully cleaned out. Lots of folks injured by sparks or flames igniting the vapors left over from the drum’s contents.

Sawzall hands down. A good sawbuck jig and about 10 minutes.
