Drivers door wont open using inside door handle. It will open using the outside handle. Door locks are functioning using key, inside door knob, and door lock buttons.
Problem started this am. I tried squirting WD40 into the latch, without taking anything apart…and am thinking of removing the inside door panel and getting a better look.
Any suggestions?

More than likely the little plastic retainer clip that secures the latch rod to the door latch mechanism for the inside door handle has broken. So now the latch rod is no longer in the hole for the latch mechanism.
Yes. The inside door panel has to be removed in order to gain access to the latch mechanism so the rod can be reinstalled in the hole and a new plastic retainer installed.
