Drive belt in hyundai santa fe

I have a 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe with 100,250 miles. It has recently started making a kind of vibrating, squealing noise. This happens only when the car is in forward drive, only when it hits at least 20 mph. The drive belt has never been replaced (the timing belt has been.) Could this be the drive belt? Is it safe to drive, or am I risking damage if it’s not attended to?

It may not be the drive belt, but I would repace it nayway. Very few rubber items are totally safe at that age and mileage.

I agree. At over 100K that belt needs to see the top of a trash can. It’s useful life is over.
