I drive a Chevy venture. Lately when I put it in gear and begin to accelerate it makes a clunk sound and almost sounds like something is dragging for just a few seconds. It hasn’t affected any other function but I am a little afraid of whats to come. Any idea?
[b]Have the frontend inspected. It sounds like one or both stabilzer bar end links might be broken.

also have the motor mounts checked.when they go bad it will make a clunk noise due to the motor hitting the firewall.
