Hi I have a drivers side door handle with no resistence. I tried to pull up too hard while door seals were frozen. I can open door from inside I can lock unlock but, can not open drivers side from outside!!! Please someone tell me what I did too it and what to do to fix.
So what you are saying is that the handle no longer feels as though it is actually moving anything in the door? This can be caused by the handle rod coming off the latch mechanism…or the rod breaks off of the plastic nub it was attached to in the door.
Open the door from the inside and remove the inner door panel…you can then determine if the handles rod fell off some way…try to get it back on so it can operate the latch is the only thing I can think to tell you to do…looks like some intervention is needed.
