In my grand 97 Ford taurus I am getting use to the gas gauge moving and not reflecting the correct amount. I can go around a corner and it will move, I can slow down or speed up and it will move. I can fill up the tank and it won’t go all the way to F. Is this something with Ford taurus alone?
No, but it is something with your sending unit in the gas tank. It’s hanging up.
Honestly, on a '97 I’d be inclined to consider it an old age quirk. To fix it would require dropping the tank.
No. This happens to any vehicle when the float on the fuel pump assembly wears out.

The floats is not worn out…The little cheesy rheostat the float is connected to is worn out…Drive on…
