Does a leaking heater core leak on the inside or outside?

If you have a leaking heater core in your car will it leak on the inside, outside, or both? Which one is more common?

Most late models do leak into the floor. Some trucks and several older models leaked out the AC condensation drain. If the core bursts under pressure the coolant can blow out everywhere at once.

Agree; on my Mercury Comet at speed, the stuf came out of the defroster ducts as well as spilling on the floor; a REAL MESS.

I LOVE the smell of coolant-soaked carpet in the morning…
