Sometimes the running lights work, most time they don’t, and there is no rhyme or reason. It’s like being a vampire, I have to be home before dark. My mechanic has referred me to a dealer. Being on Nantucket, it is a logistical nightmare (although I often spend a day in Cambridge)
What can the problem be? How best to get it taken care of, does it have to be a dealer?
Best,
Jen
You shouldn’t need the dealer to fix this trouble. Just a good shop that knows how to work on electrical problems. As a guess I would say the the trouble is with the light switch but it may be a bad connection after the switch also. With a wiring guide and a good tech it should be pretty easy to find the trouble.

I think that repair options are somewhat limited for the OP, who lives on Nantucket Island. There are likely not a whole lot of mechanics to choose from on the island.
Thanks for the help. Maybe I can find a good shop off island to help.
