It will depend more on the voltage regulation of the charging system, not the current of the alternator.
If the charging system regularly charges at an overly high voltage for a long period, or doesn’t restore the charge after charging from short trips and infrequent driving, the battery life will be reduced. 13.5 to 14.2 charging voltage would be good.
When the temperature is cold the charging voltage is usually higher, which happens to work well to increase charging current right after a startup, with the voltage going down as the temperature goes up.
