The speedometer and other gauges are very difficult to read when driving in daylight. Just lost in a shadow. Nighttime they are lit just fine. Any help?
Does said vehicle, whatever it is, have a dimmer switch for the panel. They are often near the light switch. If it has one, experiment with it.
What kind of vehicle are you talking about? Some have instrument clusters that are lit with standard small light bulbs. Others are edge lit panels. Some are lit by magic.
Problem is with my 1997 Subaru Outback Legacy. The dimmer rheostat is on the turn signal lever, and works just fine when headlights are on at night. I see no effect during the day.
