I have a 2000 Saab 9-3 and recently the front left headlight continues to go out after about a month. What could be causing the problem (other than a bad bulb)?
Any comments welcome…thanks in advance
Vibration, poor connection (likely ground or the plug) or high voltage (should not be just one headlight)
Also check for moisture/condenstation in the headlight housing. This was causing premature bulb failures in my 2000 Blazer. I used a hair dryer to remove the condensation in the housing. It’s much easier if the housing is removable.

Make sure you don’t touch the replacement bulb with your bare fingers. The oils from your skin create a “hot spot” on the bulb, causing it to blow prematurely.
