2004 Saab 9-3 low beam failure message

I’m getting a message of the passenger side low beam failure. Basically, doesn’t this just mean that one of the headlights is out? Also, is this tied to something else that may be wrong with the car? Finally what should I expect to pay to replace it? Or, can I do it myself. Thanks

Is one of your low beams out check and see. Dont know your ability but bulbs dont pay the tech much to replace. Depends on what flavor of repair facility you select (dealer ,independent ,chain) This may be your chance to establish a relation with a Euro independant garage

I own a Saab too. It just means your headlight is out. You can get one for under 10 bucks at any decent car parts store and takes about 5 minutes to replace.
