This is true. The battery wears out faster when it’s sitting at a full charge than when it’s sitting at a partial charge. Some devices can be set to a “battery conservation mode” to stop charging at a lower percentage, such as my current Lenovo tablet, which can stop at 60% if I remember correctly.

No fooling, really? You lose a lot of audience when you make hair on fire responses like this.

Personally I’m in favor of EV’s for nearby use, which is probably 80% or more of American-family’s driving. However, imo it’s foolish for pro-EV politicians to suggest that EV’s will soon be a viable way to drive across the country. EV’s are just not the right tool for that job, and it only hurts the potential future of EV’s to suggest they are.
