I have a 2003 Audi A6 with 102k miles on it, the steering is driving me crazy!!!
When it gets over 50deg and the car gets warmed up the steering wheel starts to creeky and almost rub when you make a turn either way. It doesn’t do it when you are stoped at a light or not moving. Many say it could be the clock spring which the dealer wants $450 to replace,
The noise is coming from someplace up in the steering column, I have tried using sylicone spray and even added a special additive to the power steering unit that stops squeaks,
Please help
