My 2007 Chevy Cobalt (automatic) has started to do a rolling creak, almost like a settling noise, when I brake. Not overtly loud. It follows the slowing rotation of the tires and can only be heard when the car has reached a slow speed when braking. Can’t feel any grinding and the brakes feel fine. If it wasn’t for the noise the car runs great.
I’ve recently had a front alignment, serpentine belt replaced, and the control arms replaced. Mileage is 61,888. Any ideas what it could be? Much help is appreciate since I’ve given this car a lot of TLC, not to mention $$$.
Thank you!
