I think the forum is well moderated. Not overly censored, not overly permissive. There’s plenty of places on the internet to discuss politics, religion, stuff like that. When I’m in the mood to discuss those thing, I go there. I’m not claiming I’ve never invoked politics here, but if I did I probably shouldn’t have. I think it is reasonable for the Car Talk moderator to keep non car related threads which might be divisive to a minimum. After all, this is the Car Talk site, and it echoes Car Talk – the radio program – as just a place to listen to some light hearted comments about cars, some ideas how to fix them, and about how cars and their problems affect American’s lives.
