Hello i have a 95 skylark 4 cylinder, i have what appears to be a coolant leak from the thermostat housing and i also have coolant mixing with my oil. Can the leak from the housing cause the coolant to mix with the oil? If not what else could be the issue?
Have your mechanic check for a breached head gasket.

It may not take long to do serious damage, so get it looked at soon.

If this is the Quad OHC engine, the heads are bad about cracking. This was a very poor design by GM. I’m surprised that there is still one running around.
