I have a 2006 Mazda 6. Recently the three buttons in the center console (air conditioning AC, rear defrost, and recycle air) have been very inconsistent. Most of the time nothing happens when you push them. Sometimes I can toggle one of them once but not a second time. Sometimes they seemingly randomly switch on their own.
Could this be electrical? Or possibly the buttons themselves have worn out?
