An 8 foot bed is an 8 foot bed, pretty much since the 1950s.
Mr. Josh is right that a full-size bed is the same size as a full size bed regardless of the model year, but you do want to check that it is a full-size bed. Short bed and Long bed trucks are a lot more common these days than they were in the past, especially since standard cabs are getting rarer and rarer. Knowing the specific submodel of the trucks in question is more important or, even better, a tape measure could clear it up quickly.
