Comments on or Experience with "FightingChance.com"?

I’m attempting to gather as much data as possible prior to purchasing a new SUV. Has anybody heard of this website? Purchased their book? How reliable/credible is this website/information ??

Thanks for the help.

Sounds like a rehashed crock to me, and your vested interest in this 39.95 package with each additional car only 9.00 would be…?

Try www.edmunds.com, lots of information and it’s free.

You’d be better off purchasing one of Phil Edmonston’s Lemon-Aid books covering the year and type of vehicle you’re looking at. They are cheaper that this website (I think around $25 Canadian) and covers every major vehicle produced over the past 25-30 years. I believe there are two different guides: One for trucks, SUVs and vans, and another for cars and minivans. They are full of info on each vehicle, as well as tips for buying, negotiations with dealers, and what to do if/when something goes wrong. It is certainly worth the cost.

Also, you’re library may have a copy of the guide. But I would say it’s required reading for anyone looking to buy a car.
